IGI is fully committed to writing a broad spread of aviation business throughout the world (excluding North America) and has done so since 2009.
Our target business is the small to medium sized aircraft that are written on a co-insurance basis, where we will follow traditional London lead lines from Lloyd’s as well as the company market. In certain instances we will lead business where we feel the rates are sufficient, allowing us to take a more meaningful line.
Major airline risks are not written, however smaller tertiary commuters are sometimes supported, normally with smaller aircraft (although we have no seating limitation).
We have a lead capacity with the following maximum lines:
Hull – USD 5 million
Liability – USD 30 million
Worldwide, excluding USA and Canada
